A Legacy of Pride
Every once in a while you stop to consider the impact your life has on the people around you. Many people can look at their family and friends knowing they have had a positive influence. Still they yearn to do something more… something deeper for mankind… something positive that will survive them.
What if you could make a lasting and permanent gift… one that was bigger than you ever dreamed possible? And what if you could do it in a way that honored and protected your loved ones inheritance at the same time?
If you would like to create that kind of legacy, the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation can help. We have created the Lion Heart Society to recognize a very special group of people – those who have remembered to include the Foundation in their estate plan.
The Lion Heart Society
Becoming a member is simple! There are two ways to join. Either let the Foundation know that you have included us as a beneficiary in your estate plan or establish a Charitable Gift Annuity with the Foundation.
Society members will be honored on a special plaque that hangs prominently at our state headquarters. Additionally, you will receive a beautifully framed certificate and be invited to be an honored guest at a gala recognition event held each year.
As a member of the Lion Heart Society, you have the option to designate where your support ultimately goes. For instance, you can help fund:
• The Foundation Endowment
• Patient Care
• Health Screenings
In the final analysis, the financial future of the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation will largely be determined by the willingness of our closest friends to make gifts through their estate plans. Please consider becoming a member today! It truly will make a world of difference.
Need More Information About Estate Planning?
If estate planning is something you are thinking about for the first time, or if you need to update an older estate plan, we have resources available to help you. To get you started, the Foundation can provide you with a Will and Trust Planning Guide and an Estate Inventory Form.
In addition, we have representatives who are well-versed in the technical aspects of estate planning. While the Foundation cannot serve as your legal counsel, our representatives are trained to help:
• Protect the way in which your loved ones receive their inheritance
• Minimize taxation on retirement
• Reduce or eliminate estate taxes
• Sell your business or other assets while minimizing capital gain tax
If you would like to learn more about these unique services, please contact the Foundation at email@example.com or call (503) 413-7399 and indicate the following:
• I am interested in learning about the Lion Heart Society
• I would like copies of the Will and Trust Planning Guide and
Estate Inventory Form
• I would like someone to contact me about estate planning
• I would like to execute a Memorial Directive to my next of kin to benefit the
Foundation (“in lieu of flowers”)
Thank you for considering the Lion Heart Society.
