Scramble For Sight Golf Tournament & Junior Golf Clinic
The 7th Annual Scramble for Sight and Junior Golf Clinic was held Monday, September 21, 2009 at The Reserve Vineyard and Golf Club, North Course, in Aloha. The Reserve is one of Oregon’s premier, award-winning courses, playing host to the Jeld-Wen Tradition, the Champions Tour final Major of the year.

A mission based component of the tournament is the Junior Golf Clinic for visually impaired youth. The Foundation hosted a one-day clinic for youth to discover the joys--and the challenges--of the game of golf. Students from the Washington School for the Blind, as well as mainstream schools, work together with local professionals to learn chipping, driving and putting skills. The clinic was a fun and memorable experience for participants and instructors alike. A special thanks to USBA 2008 World Champion Ron Plath for organizing the clinic.
This tournament is more than an annual fundraising event. It offers youths the opportunity to expand their horizons, it gives sponsors a fun way to contribute to our life changing programs and it all translates into helping communities in need at a statewide level.
